Marti’s Copper performance video screened in Malmö

Francesca Marti’s 10-minute documentary video of herCopper performance staged in Stockholm at the Historiska Museet in May 2021, was premiered on the occasion of the Malmö International Forum on the Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism, which took place on October 13-14, 2021. The performance was created by the artist Francesca Martí and co-organised by the Embassy of Spain to Sweden, the Centro Sefarad-Israel and Judisk Kultur i Sverige. It pays homage to the victims of the Holocaust and Nazism, and to those who continue to preserve their memory.

Together with Francesca Marti’, the list of 15 participants/performers in Sweden include writer Marifé Santiago Bolaños and Icelandic singer Gulla Thorvaldsdottir, with poems and testimonials by Theo Loefler, Francine Finer and different musicians, actors, historians and performers.
