The annual «Nit de l’Art» took place in Palma de Mallorca on September 17, 2022. For its 26th edition, more than 30 galleries and cultural institutions took part in what is now a weekend-long event, whereby participating art spaces are open until midnight, attracting a diverse visiting public.
Francesca Marti’s «Green Swarm» exhibition at Gerhardt Braun Gallery in Calle Sant Feliu was a crowd favourite, with more than 10,000 people streaming through the space over the weekend. Gerhardt Braun also launched his newly rebuilt gallery space in the same street. Pictures of Marti’s sculptures of flies, dragonflies and butterflies, and photos of her immersive video installation with music by Zack Hemsey, featured in thousands of selfies and Instagram posts made by visitors during the «Nit de l’Art» weekend.
