"In this new age of collaboration, the old roles disappear. My work is a forum for language, discussion and reflection. As a Spanish artist who works primarily in Europe, Asia and Arabian countries, the idea behind this book is to show my perceptions of the broader themes of humanity, authority and masculinity/femininity" - Francesca Marti, 2011
This monograph focuses on the dynamic work of one of Spain's leading artists, reproducing not only her paintings, videos and installations, but also recording the processes of creation and the development of her working methods, bot in the studio and abroad. This bilingual English-Spanish book contains written contributions by many leading international art world figures from Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, the U.K., Jordan, Israel, Korea, The U.S. and Australia, including museum directors, gallery owners, critics, curators and other artists. It also includes personal views from Marti's close circuit of friends, family, models and colleagues.
