Xiao Hui Wang and Francesca Marti’ meet in Palma to discuss Chinese museum project

As reported by Mallorca’s Ultima Ora. Francesca Marti and Shanghai-based artist Xiao Hui Wang have been meeting in Spain to discuss their «Connected Lines» project. This includes a traveling exhibition in China and Europe, currently being organised to highlight the visual links and overlapping themes in the work of the two artists, including their photographs, sculptures and paintings inspired by dreams and «dreamers». Together with Professor Guanhong Xiao, the director of the Xiao Hui Wang Museum which opened to the public in 2013 in Shanghai, the artists visited the «Faces» exhibition at Es Baluard Museum of Contemporary Art, the Gerhardt Braun Gallery in Palma and Francesca Marti’s studio in Soller.
